I'm I Manmadha Rao, Musician by Profession.

 

I play the Saxophone.

 

A Grade Artist, All India Radio.

 

I play chaste Carnatic Classical Music on the Saxophone.

 

Date of Birth: 10th November, 1986

 

My parents:

Father: Sri I Krishna Rao Garu, Musician

Mother: Smt I Mahalakshmi Garu,

 

I was initiated into music at the tender  age of  8 years by my Father. I started first on the Guitar.

 

Later on, as the days passed by I developed a keen interest in the Clarionet and I started playing it from the age of 11 years.

 

Slowly, as the days passed by I became more inclined towards the Saxophone. One fine day when I was 14 years old, I started playing the Saxophone. The more I practised, greater grew my passion for this serene Instrument.

 

Some of My Musical Milestones:

 

I gave my maiden concert on the Saxophone at the age of 16 years.

 

By the age of 26 years I got graded as B-High Grade Artist By All India Radio in my very First Attempt Itself.

 

After 3 more years, when I was 29 years old I got the recognition of A Grade Artist  by All India Radio. (In the year 2013) 

 

 

1. Nadaneerajanam: 

I have performed in the prestigious Nadaneerajanam Concert which is a live telecast  programme conducted by SVBC Channel, Tirumala.

 

2. Visakha Music and Dance Academy(VMDA):

Got the award of "Best Saxophone Player" by VMDA in the year 2008.

 

3. Mahasourayagam: at Arasavalli, Srikakulam. one of the only two Sungod Temples in our Country.

 

4.Yadagirigutta Brahmotsavalu, in the year 2012.

 

5.Central University, Hyderabad, 2012.

 

6.Sapthavadhyatarangini:

One of the finalists of this Music competition going to be telecasted by Sri Venkateswara Bhakthi Channel, Tirupathi.

 

     Besides these, I have given many performances in and around Kakinada, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Paralakhemundi, Berhampur, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad, etc.
